Hanuman is a half-man, half-monkey demigod who appears as an invaluable ally to Rama, the main protagonist of The Ramayana. Hanuman is king of the monkeys and the most loyal buddy a guy could ask for. He barely even know Rama, but he still flies halfway across the world for him, goes to war for him and perpetually rips his chest open to show that Rama is literally on his heart. OUCH! Whatever Rama asks for Hanuman provides unquestionably. He shrinks, grows to mountainous sizes and flies across oceans because it is his duty as a loyal companion.
